Currently, Shopify subscriptions are not compatible with local delivery, so a customer can't purchase the membership product if they also have products for local delivery in their cart. According to their roadmap (https://shopify.dev/apps/subscriptions#known-limitations) they will be launching compatibility in the second half of 2022.
